Public Notice: City of Talent Weed Abatement Policy

The City of Talent wishes to inform residents about the city’s Weed Abatement Policy. Weed abatement involves cutting, mowing, or removing weeds or grasses of a specified height.

Starting May 15, 2024 until the end of Fire Season, all weeds and grasses on properties within the city boundary must not exceed 6 inches in height.

Residents are urged to maintain their properties to help safeguard our community. Non-compliance with this policy may result in fines. For a detailed overview of the Weed Abatement Ordinance, please consult the City of Talent Municipal Code at www.talent.municipal.codes.
