Autopay Authorization
A great way to get bills paid on time and without hassle is to utilize our automatic electronic bill payment service. Download and fill-out the Monthly Autopay Request Authorization below and return it to our Utility Billing department. Please read the form carefully as there are additional documents necessary to complete this form.
Payment Deferral Program
The City of Talent has a payment deferral program for accounts with past-due balances due to unexpected financial hardship. Utility accounts with outstanding amounts can apply to have these charges deferred by opting for a payment plan outlined in the City of Talent Payment Agreement Application. Under this option, customers have a six-month repayment plan. They are required to pay 1/6 of the total past due amount along with the current month's charges by the last business day of each month. New Water Service
If you are a new customer, please complete our New Water Service Application from below. Applications must be signed by the owner/property manager and tenant of the property involved and must be filed with the city before they become effective.
Deposit: New customers will also need to pay a water deposit. This deposit depends on the size of the water meter that is servicing the property. Please contact the Utility Billing Department for the size of the water meter. Only individuals listed on the utility account will be able to access information regarding the account.
Turning On Your Water: You will need to call the Utility Billing department (541) 535-1566, to set up a date and time for the water to be turned on. Water service activation appointments are scheduled to a two hour window, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Before water service is reconnected all outstanding balances must be paid. An adult, 18 years of age or older, must be present at the service address to verify and sign that the water has been turned on.
