Spring into Recycling on April 13th, 2024

Together for Talent is planning a recycling event for Spring 2024 on Saturday April 13, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.  Spring into Recycling will be held at the Talent City Hall parking lot, 110 East Main Street. All area residents are welcome. 

This will be a chance to off-load items you’ve been meaning to get rid of, but haven’t quite gotten around to.  What’s more, by recycling you won’t fill up garbage dumps and you’ll help out the rest of the community who can make good use of things you no longer need or want.
 

While we have not got a final list of what we’re able to take, we plan to take:

 
All clothing—shoes and accessories (such as purses, belts, bags, backpacks, wallets).  Also, household items such as kitchenware, small kitchen counter appliances, dish ware, pots & pans, etc.
 
Electronics—computer, laptops, tablets, printers & monitors, TVs, stereos & record players, toner cartridges, household batteries, Christmas lights, car stereo equipment, chargers, cable and wire, portable electronics, game consoles.

Adventure gear—camping equipment, bicycle and bicycle parts.

Metal—both ferrous and non-ferrous.

We look forward to seeing you on April 13th and making this another fun opportunity to reduce waste and help reuse in the community.
