School District Colver Property Annexed into City Limits

The Talent City Council unanimously approved annexing the Phoenix-Talent School District’s Colver Road property into Talent’s city limits. The decision was made at the rescheduled April 24, 2024 regular council meeting at the Talent Community Center.

Superintendent Brent Barry and several community members and groups spoke in support of the ordinance. The proposed development includes baseball/softball fields, Little League fields, soccer fields, a multi-purpose field, and facilities for the Boys and Girls Club and Talent Elementary’s Outdoor Discovery Program.

Mayor Darby Ayers-Flood praised the district's commitment to transparency throughout the process.
