Community Open House on Proposed Public Safety Fee

Proposed Fee Increase

Staff have proposed to increase the Public Safety Surcharge to $10.50/month for residential customers (currently it is $5.66) – and by significantly more for non-residential customers.

The City will be holding an open house on the evening of July 22 to share more details with the public about exactly why an increase is being proposed.

Council will discuss possibly adopting the increase on August 5.
