Welcome to the City of Talent Parks page. Below you will find a comprehensive list of our parks and open spaces, each offering a variety of recreational opportunities for the community to enjoy. All parks are maintained by the City’s Public Works Department to ensure they remain safe, clean, and accessible for everyone.
Chuck Roberts Park
This park is guided by a newly adopted 2025 Master Plan that outlines a comprehensive vision for future improvements and community enhancements. Planned upgrades include renovation of the existing splash pad, relocation of the tennis and pickleball courts, development of a large dog park, installation of a labyrinth, and the addition of an all-accessible playground. These improvements are intended to create a more inclusive, functional, and enjoyable space for residents and visitors of all ages and abilities.
Talent Commons
This park serves as a key connection within the Civic Center area. The one-acre park features a play structure designed for younger children, restroom facilities, and an open grassy area. Sidewalks throughout the site provide convenient access to City Hall, the Community Center, the Library, and the Historical Society.
Kamerin Springs
This 0.21-acre park offers a welcoming space for community recreation and relaxation. Amenities include a half-court basketball facility, a children’s play area, and a rectangular gazebo that serves as a picnic shelter. A thoughtfully designed wetland area has been enhanced into a small pond, adding both visual appeal and ecological value. Originally developed as part of the Kamerin Springs Development, the park has since been deeded to the City and is open for public use.
Old Town Skate Park
Old Town Park, commonly known as the “Skatepark,” is located on Main Street between John Street and the railroad tracks. The park is a multi-use facility serving skateboarders, in-line skaters, and BMX riders, and includes perimeter sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, and areas for seating and viewing. A separate portion of the site provides additional recreational space with lawn areas, benches.
The initial phase of the project was completed during the 1997/98 and 1998/99 fiscal years. A revised Old Town Park plan was approved by the Talent City Council on December 19, 2001.
Most recently, the park has undergone significant improvements, including resurfacing of the skating bowl, installation of new fencing, and construction of three single-shed metal roof-style pavilions, completed in 2026. These upgrades enhance both the functionality and user experience of this well-loved community facility.
Lyn Newbry Park
This 2.46-acre site is located on the east side of Bear Creek along the Bear Creek Greenway. Lynn Newbry Park, owned by ODOT and managed and maintained by the City’s Public Works Department, serves as both a destination for residents and a gathering hub for users of the Bear Creek Greenway.
The park includes a picnic shelter with two picnic tables, a trash receptacle, and a BBQ grill. It also offers opportunities for wildlife viewing, including steelhead and salmon in Bear Creek, providing both recreational and environmental value to the community.
Joseph Park
Joseph Park is a 0.28-acre site located on Joseph Street along Wagner Creek. Joseph Park is in very close proximity to Wagner Park. The site is bounded on both sides by residential homes. The southern edge of the site is significantly lower in elevation and consists of the riparian area along the Wagner Creek Greenway. The remainder of the site is lawn.
Wagner Creek Park
Wagner Park is a 0.76-acre site located on the north side of Rapp Road, where it crosses Wagner Creek. Wagner Creek borders the park to the south and provides significant riparian vegetation. It is largely grass, though the northern half of the site is populated by small pine trees planted by a local volunteer group. Large tree trunks have been laid down along the eastern border of the lawn to divert high water. There is also irrigation access on the site.
Bark Park
Talent Bark Park is one of Talent's newest parks. Located across the street from Chuck Robert's Park on Talent Ave, it offers a play area for dogs of all sizes. Trees, grass and a pathway around the perimeter allow for both canines and their human companions a place for exercise, fun and freedom. While benches and a picnic table offer the owners a place to rest. Doggie stations are inside the park so owners can easily pick up after their pooches. Bring your dog, and enjoy the company of other Talent dogs. Bark Park's latest fun for dogs is a tunnel! It includes grass, a small hill, a tunnel to explore (with drainage and secure footing) - your dog will love it!
Talent Tiny Park
Located within the pedestrian promenade along Valley View Road, this unique pocket park is believed to be the unofficially smallest public park in America—making it a truly record-breaking feature of the community. Its distinctive hexagonal design and surrounding art tiles reflect the City of Talent’s strong commitment to supporting pollinators.
The park is thoughtfully planted with Oregon native species, creating a small but meaningful ecological space. This special place is a source of pride for the community, with the Talent Garden Club and the Talent Worker Bees volunteer group dedicating significant care and effort to its ongoing maintenance and beauty.
Footprints Pathway Park
Commonly known as Creekside Park, this neighborhood park is located along Creekside Drive and Wagner Creek. It features tranquil, grassy areas where visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of the flowing creek. A playground provides a welcoming space for children and families. The park’s name honors the Indigenous peoples who once traveled through this area.
