In 2014, Talent became the second Bee City affiliate of Bee City USA. Bee City USA unites communities working to make our environment better for pollinators. It is an initiative of the XERCES Society whose mission is the conservation of pollinators and endangered species and pesticide reduction.
Private and public efforts in Talent to establish and maintain pollinator gardens are supported by the private initiative Bee City Talent, which is sponsored by the Talent Garden Club.
