Jackson County has a consortium of local governments and waste haulers called, Jackson County Recycling Partnership, whom meet regularly to address state recycling mandates.  This page houses information to help the public with their waste and recycling efforts.

Solid Waste and Recycling Services – Residential & Commercial

Solid waste and recycling collections services are provided by Recology Ashland. (RA)

Residential: Curbside recycling is picked up every other week. When signing up for trash collection you will have the option to receive a 64 gallon recycle cart. Follow this link to see what items are accepted. 

Commercial: Depending on your needs, RA offers both cart and container options for commercial recycling. Please call Recology Ashland at 541.482.1471 for available options. 

Solid Waste and Recycling Drop-off:  Public solid waste and recycling drop off is available at the Valley View Transfer Station located at 3000 Valley View Road.

Household Hazardous Waste Disposal: Recology Ashland, along with event co-sponsors, hosts an annual collection event in early May. Click here for more information. There is also information on Toxics Use and Hazardous Waste Reduction on DEQ’s website here! 

Jackson County Recycling Partnership (JCRP) is a consortium of local governments, waste haulers and citizen formed to promote education about the benefits of recycling, waste prevention, hazardous waste reduction, re-use recycling and composting throughout Jackson County. JCRP holds quarterly meetings. Click here
