Talent Police Department Warns of Bear Sightings in City
As a reminder consider the following suggestions to minimize encounters:
-store garbage in a shed or garage.
-take trash cans out the morning of pickup.
-remove outdoor food sources such as pet and bird feeders.
-consider removing fruit from trees, fruit that has fallen on the ground and compost piles.
Talent Police Department is working with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to monitor the situation. If there is an immediate threat from an animal, please call 911.
