Notice of Public Hearing for City Application to CDBG Funds

2nd Public Hearing Notice
 
The City of Talent is completing a Small Business & Microenterprise Assistance (SBMA) project funded with Community Development Block Grant funds from the Oregon Business Development Department. The location of the project is: Talent, Phoenix, and unincorporated Jackson County. It is estimated that the project has benefited at least 25 persons of whom 100% are low or moderate income.

A public hearing will be held by the City Council at 6:45 pm on Wednesday, August 17 via zoom. The link for the meeting will be posted here:

The purpose of the hearing is for the City Council  to obtain citizens views about the project and to take comments about the local government’s performance. Written comments are also welcome and must be received by August 15 at 110 E. Main St, Talent OR, 97540 or by email to hflores@cityoftalent.org. Both oral and written comments will be reviewed by the City Council.

The location of the hearing is accessible to the disabled. Please contact the City of Talent at 541-535-1566 to request special accommodations  to attend or participate in the hearing.

More information about the Oregon Community Development Block Grant program and the project is available for public review at Talent City Hall, at 110 E Main St, Talent OR, during regular office hours.  Advance notice is requested.
