Potential Flooding Expected Along Wagner and Bear Creek Waterways

Enjoying the snow and rain? Please watch out for potential flooding along our creeks and watersheds!

The City of Talent and it’s Public Works Department would like to advise residents of a potential for flooding along Wagner and Bear Creak waterways due to higher-than-expected rainfall at high elevation.

According to information from the National Weather Service (Medford office), the Rogue Valley is expected to experience heavy amounts of rain for most of this week. To view the original weather forecast, please visit this link.

A complimentary sandbag station has been set up by Public Works at 200 Suncrest Road (immediately outside the gate) and includes shovels and sandbags. Residents may access the sandbag station 24 hours a day. If you need help filling sandbags, please contact Public Works at 541-535-3828.
